About the Role

Open to psychiatric mental health NP or DNP candidates. (Not for RN/BSN ccandidates.)

If you are looking to get hands-on experience and get started with your career in psychiatric mental health nursing services, North Suffolk Community Services is a great place to start! We offer practicums in Community Mental Health Centers with our fantastic nurse practitioner team as preceptors.   

-Ideal setting for students with experience /interest in severe mental illness.... 

-Candidates should be self-motivated and able to take initiative. 

Our students work with a wide variety of diagnoses and presentations, across a number of different demographics as well. If you are looking for a practicum placement, please submit your application and complete all of the sections.
