The Role and College of St Hild & St Bede
An opportunity has arisen for Hild Bede students to become more involved in the spiritual life of Hild Bede College. The successful students will be working alongside the Chaplain to enhance, promote, and provide various opportunities for the students and staff to engage in their own spiritual life while studying away from their usual places of worship. Two roles will be available as it is hoped that this will enable College to better reflect and celebrate the spiritual diversity of its community by organising events and activities which mark important moments in the life of other faiths. As part of the role will include helping with the Choral Evensong service and the Eucharist Service on a Sunday morning, one or both students would have to be able to fulfil that aspect of the role. This opportunity may appeal to students who may wish to explore their own spirituality as well as share their knowledge of their own faith with other staff and students, through events, services and activities throughout the terms. The successful students would also have opportunity to be more involved in the local community and enhance the relationship between the college and surrounding areas.
