About the Role

[What the role is]

Support the planning and execution of social support and community engagement initiatives that benefit residents in the North West District. Gain hands-on experience engaging residents, schools, and community partners, while assisting with social assistance schemes, programme development, and administrative operations.

[What you will be working on]

You will play an active role in the planning and execution of Social Support Events to assist and bring cheer to residents in North West District. Be involved in not just planning and execution of events but get to interact with residents on a day-by-day basis by assisting them with applications of social assistance schemes face-to-face and online

  • Customer Service: Assist residents in applying for social assistance schemes such as helping them with applications

  • School Engagement: Interact with teachers and students to understand how the programme benefits underprivileged students

  • Partner Engagement: Maintain effective communication and engagement with partners, including Social Service Agencies

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends and new opportunities to enhance existing programmes

  • Administrative Support: Provide admin and logistical support to the team to process social assistance schemes

Job Requirement:

  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred.

  • Patient, positive and passionate about working with seniors and families from diverse background

  • Passionate about serving the community and public

  • Good time management, able to meet timeline set

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Adaptability and flexibility, able to offer creative solutions
