About the Role

Summary of Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to support Lubrizol's logistics operations through data analysis, performance reporting, process improvement initiatives, and operational coordination. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to supply chain and logistics activities while working with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, service performance, and operational excellence.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly logistics performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support data analysis and process improvement initiatives, including automation and digitalization projects aimed at enhancing logistics efficiency.
  • Participate in regional and global logistics projects by tracking progress, gathering information, and supporting implementation activities.
  • Perform monthly warehouse and transportation billing verification to ensure accuracy and timely cost processing.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for day-to-day logistics activities while collaborating with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with company procedures.

 

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in logistics, supply chain operations, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required.
