About the Role

Summary of Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to support Lubrizol's Supply Chain team through master data management, reporting, process improvement, and customer portfolio analysis. The intern will gain hands-on experience in supply chain planning and customer service operations by working with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, optimize reporting processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in reviewing, validating, and maintaining supply chain planning master data, including planning parameters such as MOQ, service levels, lead times, stocking policies, and other system settings.
  • Support data cleanup and customer portfolio maintenance activities to improve data accuracy and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze supply chain and customer-related data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and support initiatives that enhance planning efficiency and business performance.
  • Assist in developing, optimizing, and maintaining reports and dashboards used for business analysis, sales reporting, and operational reviews.
  • Document processes, workflows, and master data management procedures to support standardization and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Customer Experience, and other stakeholders on continuous improvement projects and day-to-day operational activities.

 

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in supply chain planning, customer operations, and data management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and continuous improvement mindset.
