Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off 

Job Description:  

Provide support for Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing tool management and process improvement initiatives within production operations. Monitor the broken tool dashboard and Gemba request SharePoint list for incoming requests from Manufacturing supervision and management. Assist with tool management activities, including creating, updating, and maintaining records in the tool management software, while coordinating with Production supervision to ensure tool data remains accurate and current. Support process improvement projects such as production layout enhancements, capital equipment proposals and implementation, and efforts to streamline manufacturing processes to improve schedule performance and reduce cost. Work under general guidance within established processes for routine assignments, while supporting non-routine tasks and recommending practical improvements for review.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information
  • Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, less complex projects or task-related activities

  

Qualifications: 

  • To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or another related engineering major.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint
  • Experience with Electrical and/or Mechanical Manufacturing
  • Database record creation and management
