About the Role

Job Title: Engineering Co-Op 

Spring/Summer Session: January 2027 - August 2027

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm / Full Time / 40hrs/wk 

Pay: $25.00/hr 

 

What to expect:  

  • To confirm if you want to become an Operations Engineer. You’ll be tasked with real company projects that will help you understand the role and responsibilities of working in manufacturing. From incorporating new machines to maximizing efficiencies into our process, you’ll impact bottom-line company results.

  • In depth training on the Rust-Oleum Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing Initiatives including Toyota Production System training- 5S, 8 Wastes, Quick Changeover (SMED) & Root Cause Problem Solving

  • Specific projects in our processing, milling, and paint making operations.  Projects to include equipment & process changes to improve efficiency, throughput, and safety.

  • Additional projects may include Lean & Six Sigma activities or efficiency & safety projects for the packaging production area.
