The Opportunity
Join Definity’s Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator Co-op/Intern to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, candidate experience, employer branding, and talent operations while supporting hiring initiatives across the organization.
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator Co-op/Intern, you will partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, and HR teams to help attract, engage, and hire top talent. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Business, or related fields and is looking to build a strong foundation in recruitment.
Your Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles across the organization.
- Create and manage job requisitions in the applicant tracking system
- Post roles on external platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor)
- Coordinate interviewers, including scheduling phone and video screens
- Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Initiate background check requests and track progress.
Candidate Experience
- Help deliver an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
- Assist with candidate screening activities and help ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide recruitment process updates.
- Support recruitment events, career fairs, and networking initiatives.
Reporting & Coordination
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics and dashboards
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Talent Acquisition team
Talent Acquisition Operations
- Assist with offer letter preparation.
- Support recruitment process improvements and special projects.
- Conduct market and talent research to help inform recruitment strategies.
What you bring to the role
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency
- Interest in recruitment, campus programs, or employer branding
- Comfortable learning new systems and tools (e.g., ATS platforms, MS Office)

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.
The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22.50 per hour and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
