Reliable Controls is dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of buildings around the world. Our team specializes in the design, development, and assembly of building automation controls and software programs. Your mission: 

As a Software QA Analyst Co-op, your goal is to ensure quality is ingrained in our software products from the very start. You will work alongside our Software QA department to perform various tests on our hardware and software products. 



This is an 8 month co-op work term, with a start date in January 2027. This position is open to students who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program. 

 

In this role you will: 

  • Execute test plans for our hardware, and software products 
  • Record test results and issues found using our testing and bug tracking software 
  • Troubleshoot to verify and diagnose cause of issues 
  • Verify functional requirements 
  • Verify resolved bugs 

  

This role might be right for you if you have: 

  • A Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering degree (or you’re working towards one) 
  • Testing experience with embedded products and software 
  • Familiar with test management and documentation systems (TMS) 
  • Hands-on experience with electrical devices and measurement instruments 
  • Familiarity with serial and Ethernet communication protocols 
  • Excellent general computer and IT skills 
  • Quality-driven personality 
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Strong desire to be part of a team that produces high-quality applications 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
