About the Role


Title: Electrical Engineering Intern

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview: Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Pascagoula facility. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation.
  • Perform general office tasks with high attention to detail, including organizing reports and maintaining engineering records.
  •  Support electrical system design and analysis, including reviewing schematics, electrical diagrams, and component specifications.
  • Assist in evaluating power distribution systems, control circuits, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other personnel to support various projects.


Qualifications

  • Education: Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Electrical Engineering
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD, MATLAB, or electrical design software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
