About the Role

About the program 

The Legal Internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

What You’ll Do: 

The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department in its delivery of services to the businesses it supports. At a high level, the Legal Intern will assist with the implementation of a contract management and storage system, review agreements, conduct legal research, and work on special projects.

  • Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization 
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments 
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities 
  • Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship 
  • Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities 
  • Drafts, reviews, and analyzes a variety of contracts, letters and memoranda
  • Assists with the implementation of a contract management and storage system
  • Conducts legal and compliance research
  • Assists with department initiatives and projects
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and codes
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs

  • Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization 
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week program
