JOB SUMMARY: This intern will support the accounting team with various tasks, such as recording and reconciling financial transactions, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end close activities. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

· Enter and maintain financial transactions in accounting systems

· Prepare account reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies

· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

· Prepare and organize financial reports and supporting documentation

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college with at least a 3.00 GPA 

· Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area of study

· Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly

· Exhibits analytical and problem-solving skills

· Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills

· These positions are required to be in-office, so candidates must have reliable transportation


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
