Job Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a Capital Markets Business & Technology Co-op in our Boston headquarters for the January–June 2027 cycle. Reporting directly to the Director of Capital Markets, the co-op will operate in an internal consulting capacity, partnering with the team to advance special projects, technology-enabled product enhancements, and process improvements. The role provides exposure to business analysis, project execution, and institutional real estate capital markets. The individual will need to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities


Business Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements that enhance accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
  • Document current- and future-state processes, business requirements, and standard procedures to support implementation and adoption.

Technology and Product Initiatives 

  • Support the evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of technology-enabled tools, product enhancements, and reporting solutions for the Capital Markets team.
  • Translate team needs into clear requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders to move initiatives from concept through execution.

Data Analysis and Decision Support 

  • Gather, organize, and analyze business and operational data to identify trends, measure results, and support recommendations.
  • Create clear presentations, project updates, and other materials that communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps.

Project Management and Collaboration 

  • Develop project plans, track milestones and deliverables, and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and status updates.
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets and other internal teams on special projects, product enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in computer science, finance, economics, AI/data analytics, math or a related field.
  • Proven record of academic performance.
  • Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop practical recommendations.
  • Interest or experience in business analysis, consulting, process improvement, technology implementation, or project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with data reporting (Power BI/Tableau/Sigma), automation (AI tools/SQL/Python), or project management tools is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information and present recommendations clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities both independently and collaboratively; interest in real estate or capital markets is a plus.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Six-month co-op conducted primarily in a professional office environment.
  • Frequent use of computers and digital communication platforms.
  • Limited travel may be required for property site visits or team meetings.
