Position Summary
The Marketing Intern is accountable for assisting with all marketing activities within Palms Medical Group (PMG), with a strong emphasis on community outreach and engagement. This position is tasked with assisting to educate and strengthen PMG’s relationships with individuals, foundations, community organizations, and corporate partners to promote health equity and access to care. This is a part time position.
Description of Primary Responsibilities
1) Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company goals.
2) Contribute to the analysis of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
3) Produce engaging and high-quality content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, press releases, and more.
4) Craft compelling advertisements, promotional materials, and product/service descriptions.
5) Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
6) Act as a liaison to community organizations, local agencies, and advocacy groups to foster partnerships that support outreach, education, and access to PMG services.
7) Assist with recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers to support outreach events, ensuring meaningful community engagement and representation.
8) Learn how to identify, plan, and participate in community events to promote PMG’s mission, health coverage options, and available services.
9) Perform all other duties as requested by the Marketing Director, CAO, and CEO.

Professional & Technical Knowledge:
1) Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, web development, and content creation.
2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3) Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Hootsuite, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Licenses & Certifications:
1) Working towards Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an educational emphasis in marketing, advertising, public relations or related business field.
Communications Skills:
1) Effectively and tactfully communicates complex and/or technical information to co-workers, patients and/or vendors.
Physical/Mental/Emotional Demands:

o Must utilize universal precaution in clinical or exposure situations as prescribed by federal/state/local guidelines and/or laws
