Description

We are looking for motivated Engineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2027!


The Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the development, design, analysis, testing, and start-up of vibratory equipment and systems. This position will work closely with Engineering and other teams, including Production, Customer Service, Sales, and R&D. 


Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, analysis, and testing of vibratory process equipment.
  • Create and modify engineering drawings in accordance with GK standards.
  • Assist with stress, strain, vibration, and deflection analyses using engineering calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Support engineering design and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge of CAD, manufacturing processes, and GK equipment.
  • Collaborate with Sales and other departments to support customer proposals and projects.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize designs, control costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD software; Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS experience is a plus.
  • Previous engineering, manufacturing, or industrial equipment experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

 

Pay: $20.00 per hour
