About the role 

We're looking for an Information Security Intern for a 6-month contract. You will be primarily responsible for assisting in implementing and maintaining the organization's information security program and policies. You'll collaborate with various departments, like IT and HR, to ensure information security is integrated into their processes and help our team respond to client requests, audits, and regulatory efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of the information security program and policies.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security controls and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement security controls to protect sensitive information.
  • Stay current with the latest information security threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Assist in compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 27001, CIS & NIST.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and HR, to ensure information security is integrated into their processes.
  • Assist with client RFx, audits, and assessments.
  • Assist with IMDA, OFCOM, NIS2, CRA information security regulatory efforts.

 

About you

  • Experience with security processes or physical security in any form is useful but not essential.
  • A strong willingness to learn in information security program implementation and management.
  • An interest in security frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The monthly salary for this position is between 30k to 40k Swedish kronor per month. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
