What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technology Risk Assessments: support comprehensive risk assessments across technology domains, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and technology operations to identify vulnerabilities, control gaps, and areas of non-compliance

  • Control Evaluation: assist in evaluating the effectiveness of controls and support the identification and prioritisation of remediation actions to strengthen the control environment

  • Automation & Scripting: develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline risk assessment activities, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort

  • Data Analytics & Visualisation: leverage data analytics and visualisation tools to support risk monitoring, reporting, and assurance activities

  • Regulatory Compliance: perform gap assessments against regulatory notices, advisories, and internal standards to evaluate compliance and identify areas requiring enhancement

  • Risk Monitoring & Reporting: assist in preparing risk reports, dashboards, and insights to support governance and management decision-making

  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with technology, risk, and business stakeholders to support risk assessments, remediation tracking, and control improvement initiatives

  • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on technology risk, assurance, governance, and process improvement initiatives as assigned

Who You Work With

Group Operations and Technology enables OCBC's business growth through secure, resilient, and innovative technology solutions. Within the Risk & Prevention – Technology Risk Management team, you'll work alongside professionals responsible for assessing technology risks, enhancing governance frameworks, and strengthening the bank's control environment. You'll gain valuable exposure to how technology risk management supports operational resilience, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Who You Are

  • Open to learning and feedback

  • Strong interest in technology risk, cybersecurity, governance, and compliance

  • Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented

  • Familiarity with IT systems, technology infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies

  • Comfortable working with data analytics and visualisation tools

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, Accountancy, or a related discipline
