What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Intelligence: support the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of business dashboards using Power BI to deliver actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Data Preparation & Analysis: assist in data extraction, cleansing, processing, and analysis to support business studies and decision-making
  • Business Insights: conduct studies and research to identify business opportunities and support strategic initiatives, subject to business requirements
  • Market & Industry Research: analyse data from external sources, industry reports, and market publications to generate insights from both structured and unstructured data
  • Data Science Research: explore and recommend data science methodologies that can support business banking studies and enhance existing analytical capabilities
  • AI & Innovation: research emerging AI developments and identify opportunities to apply AI solutions within banking processes and business operations
  • Application Testing & Support: assist in the testing, validation, and enhancement of data-related applications and provide support for data analytics initiatives
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other data-related projects and assignments as required

Who You Are

  • Open to learning and feedback
  • Strong sense of curiosity and passion for data and technology
  • Analytical, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and statistical concepts
  • Familiarity with Python and SQL would be advantageous
  • Experience with dashboarding or data visualisation tools would be beneficial
  • Exposure to analytics, AI, or technology-related projects would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
