As a Mezzanine Capital Intern, you'll be part of an investment-focused team that evaluates and executes financing opportunities across various industries. How You Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need to be intellectually curious, analytical, and highly motivated. You'll work closely with investment professionals to conduct due diligence, perform financial analysis, and prepare investment materials that support decision-making. Your ability to synthesise information, think critically, and communicate insights effectively will be key to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Modelling: build and update financial models, including three-statement projections, debt waterfalls, and sensitivity analyses to support investment evaluation
  • Investment Materials: assist in the preparation of investment committee memoranda, deal teasers, term sheets, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Due Diligence & Research: conduct sector and company research, analyse financial information, and review management accounts, information memoranda, and third-party reports
  • Investment Analysis: support the assessment of investment opportunities through industry analysis, company performance evaluation, and comparable company benchmarking
  • Deal Origination: assist with market mapping, sector screening, and identification of potential investment opportunities
  • Portfolio Monitoring: support the monitoring of portfolio company performance through monthly and quarterly financial reviews and analysis
  • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on investment-related initiatives and assignments as required

You'll work alongside experienced investment professionals who evaluate opportunities across industries and manage investments throughout their lifecycle. Who You Are

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and interest in investments and corporate finance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or related fields
  • Familiarity with hybrid capital, credit analysis, or structured financing would be advantageous
  • Strong academic record, with a GPA of 4.0 or above, or Second Upper Class Honours equivalent
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
