As an EB Mid Market Intern, you'll work alongside Relationship Managers and stakeholders across the bank to support client servicing, credit evaluation, and operational processes. You'll work closely with the team to support client transactions, credit reviews, and customer onboarding activities while gaining exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements. Your ability to stay organised, communicate effectively, and take initiative will be key to building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality support.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transaction Support: assist with the processing of client transactions, including document submission for Telegraphic Transfers (TTs), Trade Finance operations, and Fixed Deposit placements
  • Credit Review & Analysis: support credit review activities by following up with customers for documentation, conducting research, and assisting in the preparation of credit proposals under the guidance of Relationship Managers
  • KYC & Compliance: assist in Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews, perform screening checks using internal systems, and conduct background research on borrowers and promoters
  • Market Intelligence: gather and analyse market information, including industry updates, interest rate movements, fraud searches, and other research requested by the team
  • Documentation & Reporting: support the preparation of call reports, meeting summaries, document batching, and bank statement reviews
  • Client Onboarding: gain exposure to the customer onboarding process and support the identification of client needs while learning about relevant banking products and solutions
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other projects and assignments as required
