As an EB Real Estate & Construction Intern, you'll work alongside Credit Analysts to evaluate financing opportunities, monitor industry developments, and support credit assessment activities. You'll work closely with the Credit Analyst team to perform financial and industry reviews, conduct market research, and support portfolio monitoring activities. Your ability to analyse information, manage multiple priorities, and communicate findings effectively will be key to delivering quality outcomes in a dynamic banking environment.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Credit Review Support: assist the Credit Analyst team in conducting credit reviews and preparing ad-hoc credit memoranda to support credit assessment and decision-making
  • Industry Research: monitor and analyse developments in the real estate and construction sectors, including preparing periodic industry outlook reviews
  • Risk & Adverse News Screening: perform adverse news checks and background research on borrowers to support ongoing portfolio monitoring and risk management activities
  • Market Intelligence: conduct market research and gather industry insights to support business and credit-related initiatives
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: assist with data extraction, sorting, validation, and stress testing exercises to support portfolio reviews and business requirements
  • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on other analytical, research, and operational assignments as required

Global Commercial Banking partners businesses across a wide range of industries, providing financing solutions and advisory support to help them grow and succeed. Within the EB Real Estate & Construction team, you'll work closely with Credit Analysts and business stakeholders who evaluate opportunities and manage risks within the real estate and construction sectors. You'll gain valuable exposure to credit assessment, portfolio management, and industry-specific banking practices while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
