About NATS Apprenticeship Program:


 
National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions. it's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

Purpose & Mission: Provide CAD Design for Powertrain Engineering

 

Expectations and responsibilities

 

•    Design casted/forged metallics parts, casted plastic, pipes, brackets, handle supplier parts etc.
•    Provide concept development to industrialization of parts and components and packaging studies.
•    Provide part- and assembly drawing. Help in release process activities

•    Recognized as a dedicated person with the player mindset that takes ownership for the work that needs to be done. 
•    Able to work according to Volvo GTT hardware development processes. 
•    Supportive among individuals and different organizations.

•    Working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
•    Recognized as a well-prepared person.

 

Required skills and experience:

 

•    Mechanical/Automobile/Mechatronics Engineering graduate/post-graduate or equivalent education.
•    Having skills in performing CAD design & calculations, good knowledge of GD&T 
•    Software skill required: Creo, PDM Link 

•    Good understanding of Powertrain technology, materials knowledge, awareness of powertrain parts and accessories.
•    Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
•    Be good learner, independent, pro-active, and continuously strive to improve.

•    Good in presentation and communication skills.
