About the Role

The internship experience will provide hands-on application with projects that will allow you to leverage what you are learning in school and experience new technology. You will gain insight on what engineers really do in industry and get a sense of personal accomplishment. You will collect & analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and potentially design processes or equipment to address those opportunities. Internships are typically 10-12 weeks with a specific beginning and ending point. Although we do not guarantee full-time employment, candidates who successfully complete the program will be considered for full-time positions upon graduation as positions are available.

 

Responsibilities

As an Engineering Intern, some of your essential duties and responsibilities may include:

· Working closely with Material Process Develop Engineers on improvements and qualifications of new initiatives

· Process and instrumentation diagram documentation

· Safely work in a manufacturing facility per required safety training at start of internship

· Providing periodic progress updates as required

Qualifications

Please consider applying if you have:

· Junior or Senior Chemical or Mechanical Engineering majors at an accredited university with an interest in chemical processes for battery cells and components

· Good standing at your university and in your field of study, typically overall GPA of 2.8 or higher

· Worked with the Autodesk AutoCAD, Solidworks

· Ability to learn procedures for safety and application software

· Demonstrated the ability to use data to solve problems

· Demonstrated flexibility to achieve desired results

· Have strong analytic skills

· Ability to work in a team environment
