The Role:

Our growing software company is looking for a Payroll Accounting Intern based in Downtown Vancouver, BC to join our team for 4 months starting in mid-Dec, 2026 until mid-April, 2027.

Location:

**Please note that this is an Internship/Temporary position that is non-remote full time based at our office in Downtown Vancouver. The position starts in mid-Dec, 2026 until mid-April, 2027 for 4 months. Office hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm**

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with year end inquiries or concerns via Email
  • Prepare T4 drafts and files
  • Reconcile totals from Push against the CRA balances
  • Investigate variances and resolve/explain to client if required 
  • Transmit T4 files to CRA and upload to the appropriate accounts in Push
  • Assist with billing the client for the services
  • Assist with any new duties that arise

Requirements

  • You are enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in Business Administration/Accounting.
  • You are extremely proficient with software systems including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • You pride yourself on exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a natural ability to analyze challenges proactively.
  • You are solution-oriented.
  • You understand the importance of handling confidential information in an ethical and professional manner.
