Reporting to: Assistant Ecommerce Manager, Luxury, Sales, E-Commerce

 

About the Role…

 

We’re looking for an E-Commerce Intern to support our Coty Malaysia Team. This internship will help you acquire commercial skills as you navigate on-the-job learnings provided to you as well as give insights towards the dynamic markets that you delve upon. Ultimately, you will gain broad and relevant experience in luxury beauty business that should prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment. Reporting to an Assistant Ecommerce Manager, you will get to work across many different beauty brands providing competitive analysis and in-depth market knowledge to drive our brands’ growth and disrupt the beauty market.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and produce diverse materials for e-commerce platforms usage (SIS, PDP, packshot etc) in line with the e-commerce team's guidelines, timing, and budget.

  • Assist on e-commerce activation activities, including liaising with vendors, activities coordination, prize redemption etc.

  • Perform e-commerce market analysis and research on competitors via collection of quantitative and qualitative data from any luxury beauty campaigns.

  • Perform pure players in store performance analysis to understand the online business.

  • Support daily administrative tasks.

  • Contribute to the generation of creative ideas within the team.

  • Will have a chance to get familiar with our well-known brands including Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chloe.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

 

ESSENTIAL:

 

  • Undergraduate Student, able to commit for at least 6 months for a full-time internship from Jan - Jun 27
  • Strong desire to learn along with strong sense of ownership and professional drive

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel

  • Passion for beauty, the marketing industry and its best practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team

  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution ability
