To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable student to join our team as a Travel Intern. This internship supports the Benefits team and the Leave of Absence team. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, remain organized, and have experience in a fast-paced work environment. The position reports to the Time and Leave Manager.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist team members with travel related questions

  • Upload and review dependent documentation

  • Assist with travel bookings and confirming availability

  • Update travel webpage as needed

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week

  • Ability to commute to Middletown, PA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in an office environment

  • Prior experience with travel reservation systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed

  • Non-exempt

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to 25lbs

Interns receive travel privileges on the American Airlines network.

Starting Rate:

$16.00/Hourly
