Level/Grade: Support Type of Position
Part-time 10 hrs./week; non-exempt
The CEO Projects Intern will contribute to priority initiatives through research, writing, communications, project tracking, and development of concise materials that support organizational goals. This role is designed for a student interested in executive-level strategy, community impact, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional projects.

Job Responsibilities
- Track progress on special projects, summarize key next steps, and help connect information across teams to support timely follow-through.
- Research organizational, healthcare, community, policy, and partnership topics and translate findings into concise summaries and recommendations.
- Draft and refine professional communications, memos, reports, and project materials for internal and external audiences.
- Conduct research, compile findings, and prepare concise summaries related to organizational priorities, community issues, partner engagement, and strategic projects.
- Organize project information, background research, stakeholder notes, and materials so they can be used effectively in planning and decision-making.
- Support stakeholder engagement, initiative planning, and cross-functional project work as assigned.
- Support meeting planning, preparation, and logistics for CEO priorities, including coordinating materials, agendas, background information, and follow-up needs.
- Ensure proper use and protection of information assets by complying with the organization’s information privacy and security policies and reporting security events or potential risks to the organization.
- Contribute to additional project, research, and communications needs as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Active college student pursuing a BA/BS or graduate degree in communications, public administration, healthcare administration, public policy, organizational leadership, business, or a related field.
- Ability to work during traditional business hours in a professional office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple assignments.
- Professional judgment and interpersonal skills when interacting with staff, senior leaders, board members, partners, and community stakeholders.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, research tools, and digital collaboration platforms; willingness to learn additional applications as needed.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing clear, professional visuals, one-pagers, and presentations, preferred.
- Must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Remain in a stationary position approximately 75% of the time.
- Frequently spend long hours in front of and/or operating a computer (approximately 75% of the time).
- Frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Occasionally transport oneself or arrange own transportation to outside meetings/events within the tri-state region.
Other Information
Depending on the student’s availability, internship duration is often based on the semester calendar (summer, fall, or spring). If you apply, please include your months of availability. This internship is a paid position; we will work with your institution to provide academic credit, if requested.
