Responsibilities

About the Role

The Oracle Application Developer Intern supports the development and enhancement of Oracle-based applications by creating technical solutions, assisting with coding, testing, debugging, and system integrations, and collaborating with team members on application improvements. This role provides hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, database technologies, technical documentation, code reviews, and enterprise system support while contributing to business and technology initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs
  • Provide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for new systems or enhancements
  • Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing and debugging
  • Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform code reviews
  • Develop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies and tools
  • Develop file and database structures, interfaces between internal and external systems
  • Provide third-tier user support during installation and end-user training
  • Design forms, reports, data collection, processing and control procedures for assigned systems

Qualifications

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:  

  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
  • Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
  • Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection 

    AI Skills Preferred 

  • Experience with AI-assisted software development or automation
  • Knowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality
  • Awareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations

 

Work Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems Management, Math or Statistics with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship
