Overview

Intern will report to appropriate department and assist in basic daily activities.

 


Responsibilities

  • Understand verbal instructions and written posted notices
  • Comply with all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures
  • Perform general labor in shop environment
  • Maintain and use personal protective equipment

    • Occasional outdoor exposure to weather elements (heat, cold, sun, snow, wind, rain etc.)
    • Work effectively at heights without disorientation on ladders which may be heights up to 10f

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age

Must be enrolled in Waukee High School district

Must pass pre employment drug screen

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the workday and up to 50 lbs. infrequently.

  • Drawing Reading - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical
  • plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Performs other duties as required
