Quelles seront vos futures missions ? 

Stagiaire Ingénieur.e études conception mécanique

Chargé de la conception d'ensembles de composants électro-mécaniques de turbo-alternateurs vos missions seront :

Elaboration de solutions techniques répondants aux problèmes spécifiques

· la conception sous NX des différents composants tels que bobine de rotor, carcasse, barres stator, structure de supportage de développantes, calages…

· le suivi en fabrication des composants et suivi du montage sur site des solutions proposées

· la mise en évidence des risques associées aux solutions proposées

· l'animation de groupe de travail, le suivi qualité et le suivi budgétaire

· l'élaboration de cahier des charges

· la rédaction de la documentation interne et client associée au projet

· retour d'expériences

Identifier, développer, évaluer et présenter des solutions d’ingénierie permettant d’atteindre les objectifs fixés à court terme et à long terme pour la conception de stators d’alternateurs (conversions, modifications et améliorations « CM&U »), telles que les stators ou les rebobinages pour les OEM et oOEM.

Fournir des conseils techniques pour les problèmes relatifs aux stators

Superviser l'élaboration de documents techniques pour les projets de grande envergure à fort impact commercial, et veiller à leur mise à disposition

Validation des solutions de conception, des analyses des causes premières et de la qualification des produits ayant trait aux stators d’alternateurs et à leurs composants

Analyser, préparer et présenter des informations techniques aux clients internes et externes de GE sous forme de rapports, de dossiers et de lettres afin de communiquer efficacement avec eux et de leur fournir des recommandations

Quel(le) étudiant(e) recherchons-nous ?

Liste des compétences recherchées : 

  • Excellentes qualités relationnelles et compétences d’encadrement et pilotage de projet
  • Capacité avérée à documenter, planifier, diffuser et gérer des projets
  • Compétences en matière d'analyse et de résolution des problèmes
  • Connaissance informatique de NX, Catia V5, VBA, Office
  • Vous êtes autonome.
  • Vous justifiez d’un niveau B2 anglais.

Expérience nécessaire :

  • Bac+2, avec acceptance dans une école d’ingénieur généraliste ou mécanique.

What will your future responsibilities be?

Mechanical Design Engineering Intern

As a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for the design of assemblies and electro-mechanical components for turbo-generators. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing technical solutions to address specific engineering problems

  • Designing various components using NX, such as rotor coils, frames, stator bars, support structures for windings, blocking/wedging systems, etc.

  • Monitoring component manufacturing and the on-site assembly of the proposed solutions

  • Identifying and highlighting risks associated with the proposed solutions

  • Leading working groups, monitoring quality, and tracking budgets

  • Preparing technical specifications and requirements documents

  • Writing internal and customer-facing documentation related to the project

  • Conducting and documenting lessons learned / feedback from experience

Identify, develop, evaluate, and present engineering solutions to achieve short- and long-term objectives for the design of generator stators, including conversions, modifications, and upgrades ("CM&U"), such as stator replacements or rewinding projects for OEMs and oOEMs.

Provide technical advice on issues related to stators.

Supervise the preparation of technical documentation for large-scale projects with significant commercial impact and ensure that the documentation is made available as required.

Validate design solutions, root cause analyses, and product qualification activities related to generator stators and their components.

Analyze, prepare, and present technical information to GE's internal and external customers in the form of reports, technical files, and letters, in order to communicate effectively and provide recommendations.

What type of student are we looking for?

Required skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to supervise and lead projects

  • Proven ability to document, plan, communicate, and manage projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of NX, CATIA V5, VBA, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently

  • English proficiency at B2 level

Required experience:

  • Two years of higher education (Bac+2), with acceptance into a generalist or mechanical engineering school/program
