About the Role

Everforth ECS is seeking a Engineering & Computer Science Intern to join our team in Fairfax, VA for the summer of 2027. The intern will support technical projects involving engineering design, systems analysis, software, hardware, testing, data collection, or documentation. Specific responsibilities will be based on the intern’s background, interests, and current business needs.

Our interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain practical experience in an environment that encourages learning, innovation, and new ideas. The ECS Internship Program is designed for students interested in engineering, computer science, technology, and related disciplines. Interns receive mentorship, participate in professional development opportunities, and build connections with professionals across multiple departments.

 

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree.
  • Be studying engineering, computer science, information technology, data science, mathematics, physics, cybersecurity, or another related field.
  • Be available to work approximately 40 hours per week for 8–10 weeks between June and August.
  • Demonstrate an interest in engineering, technology, systems, or technical problem-solving.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
