About the Role
 

Pay: $20.00 Per Hour 

Dates: June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027 

Schedule: In-Office, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM / 30-minute lunch every day 

Location: Chicago, IL

Overview

In this 10-week specialized program, you will be exposed to Sales and Sales Planning Functions. You will assist the Sales Team and Sales Planning team and be exposed to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses. 

Sales Intern Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shadow Sales in day-to-day responsibilities  
  • Assist with pulling samples and reports for internal/customer meetings
  • Attend weekly meetings  
  • Own sample management (i.e. maintaining assortment boards, receiving and sending PP/TOP samples)  
  • Exposure to OTB and Inventory Management processes  
  • Work closely with the Merchandising Department based on Sales needs  
  • Work with Sales to manage PO activity for each customer and category  
  • Learn the fundamentals of forecasting and projections for our product categories  

Project

Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor to help provide coaching & support throughout the project. The project will be presented in the final week to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to put together a solution to create a positive change.

Qualifications:

  • Sales or Business Majors a plus
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday
  • Able to commit to the full duration of the internship program (10 weeks)
  • Thrives in collaborative settings and understands the value of cross-functional alignment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Looking to gain hands-on experience
