About the Role

As a Substation Technician Intern in Great Bend or Concordia, KS you will be exposed to installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing substation equipment including power transformers, load tap changers, high voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, and various electronic systems with the majority of the duties involving working with alternating current (ac) and direct current (dc) circuits between 48 and 600 volts.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post high school technical certification program in industrial electrical, instrument and control, or electronics.
