Job Description

YOUR TASKS

As an Accounting Intern, you will support various accounting and finance functions while gaining practical experience in a professional business environment. This internship provides exposure to financial processes, systems, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that support daily operations. This position is currently tentatively scheduled to start early-mid November 2026.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Process invoices using SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
  • Assist with GR/IR account reconciliation activities.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Support fixed asset inventory cycle counts and record maintenance.
  • Perform asset tagging and scanning activities within PASAM.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as assigned.
  • Submit and monitor SIVIS service tickets.
  • Follow up on Electronic Service Requests (ESRs) and related accounting items.
  • Assist with additional accounting, reporting, and administrative projects as assigned.
  • Be self-managed and detail-oriented.
  • Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
  • Sophomore standing or higher 
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday through Friday)
  • Must be able to work onsite
  • Must be able to complete the duration of the internship assignment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

  • Available to work 30+ hours per week.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
