Job Description: 

This internship supports our Engineering team by helping validate new marine products through structured, real-world on-water testing. The Product Testing Intern operates company boats, runs test protocols, documents performance results, and communicates clear feedback to the engineers developing the products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the water, pays close attention to detail, and wants hands-on experience in how new boating products are evaluated, refined, and brought to market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· Operate company boats safely and responsibly during scheduled test sessions

· Run structured test protocols on new products, components, or features (e.g., hardware, electronics, hull modifications, accessories)

· Record performance data — speed, handling, fuel efficiency, durability, comfort, and any anomalies

· Take photos/video documentation of tests and product performance

· Complete standardized test reports after each session

· Present findings and recommendations to the product/management team on a regular cadence

· Flag safety concerns or product failures immediately

· Maintain and inspect boats/equipment before and after use

· Follow all boating safety regulations and company protocols

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

Required:  

· Valid boating license/certification (or willingness to obtain one)

· Prior boating experience required; mechanical or marine background a plus

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Detail-oriented with good record-keeping habits

· Ability to work part-time hours, including some weekends/seasonal peak times

· Must be at least 18 years old

· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Willingness to travel as needed
