About the Role
As a department or division intern the role will assist in establishing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives. Under the direction of a senior level employee or manager the individual will work on projects that support the business area goals and results. Completes tasks using both interpersonal and technical skills appropriate to the specific job assignment, while adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment.

Primary Accountabilities • Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives. • Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations. • Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management. • May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles. • Presents project results to management and/or department personnel. • Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area. • Other duties as assigned. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service. • Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program. • Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term. Licenses • Not applicable. Travel Requirements • Up to 10%. Physical Requirements • Work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Working Conditions • Not applicable.
