 About the Role

Pinnacle Family Health is seeking a motivated Student Intern to join our Administration department. This internship offers hands-on exposure to Human Resources, Accounting, and Operations functions within a healthcare organization, with a particular focus on helping the team write, organize, and maintain internal policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to build practical administrative and business skills in a supportive, real-world environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain an accessible, well-structured policy and procedure library (digital and/or physical)
  • Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and document preparation
  • Assist Accounting staff with basic clerical tasks, data entry, and organization of financial documents
  • Support Operations staff with day-to-day administrative needs and special projects
  • Proofread internal documents for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, patient, and financial information
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English (written and verbal communication)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Prior office or administrative experience is a plus but not required
