Risk Management Intern

About the program  

The Risk Management Internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

What You’ll Do:  

• Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization  
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments  
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities  
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship  
• Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities  

What We’re Looking For:  

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program majoring in Business, Operations, Risk Management or related field.
• Strong background in MS Excel, and reporting.  
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills  
• Course work or experience in environmental, health, and safety is desirable. This would allow the candidate to better understand issues related to Life Safety, OSHA, risk management and risk mitigation
