About the Role

We are looking to add new talent to our Socio-Environmental Team to support a diverse portfolio of mining, environmental, and infrastructure projects across Latin America and internationally.

The Pre-Professional Socio-Environmental Intern (Co-op Student) role offers an exciting opportunity for students in the final stages of their university studies to gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will contribute to environmental studies, data management, technical documentation, and multidisciplinary project activities while developing your technical and professional skills.

In this role, you will collaborate with environmental specialists, engineers, and project teams, learning how socio-environmental considerations are integrated into sustainable project development and environmental compliance.

This Role Will Give You the Opportunity To

• Support the collection, organization, and management of technical and environmental project information.

• Assist with environmental data processing, analysis, and reporting activities.

• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and environmental documentation.

• Support environmental permitting, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mining, infrastructure, and environmental projects.

• Participate in field and office-based activities while developing technical and professional skills.

• Gain exposure to environmental impact assessments, environmental management programs, and consulting best practices.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has

• Current university studies (7th semester or above) in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Biology, or a related field.

• Interest in environmental consulting, sustainability, and environmental management.

• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and environmental impact assessment principles.

• Familiarity with Google Earth, AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Intermediate English proficiency; Portuguese is considered an asset.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
