Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Marketing Content Intern to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Unit Description
Delaware North is the food, beverage, and retail provider at Little Caesars Arena. The 20,000-seat venue opened in 2017 and is home of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons. We provide a full accompaniment of services, including concessions and premium dining services in a variety of innovative club areas, loge boxes, and suites.
Responsibilities
- Create dynamic new media content to enhance guest experiences and develop business relations.
- Assist with the promotion of all assigned locations.
- Maintain open communication with clients, guests, media, and vendors.
- Manage assigned marketing channels including creating social media posts.
- Investigate and solve service complaints about various communication platforms.
- Prepare various operational reports; keep records pertaining to analytics of social media accounts.
Qualifications
- Working towards or have a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or PR preferred.
- Previous experience with social media site management on a non-personal level preferred.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as design and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
