We are seeking a Supply Chain Intern in our Fremont, CA location.

About the Role 

In this role, you will learn how a manufacturing supply chain works from the inside out. You’ll get hands-on experience running our in-house 3D printing inventory process, keeping our hardware supplies organized, and helping salvage extra parts so nothing goes to waste. 

What You’ll Do :

• 3D Printed Parts & Inventory:
  
• Print parts in-house using 3D printers based on production needs.
  
• Log finished 3D printed parts into our inventory system so the production team can use them. 
• 
  Keep track of printer supplies (like filaments or resins) and order re-stocks before running out.
  

• Hardware & Bin Organization (Freestock Program):
  
• Keep shop-floor hardware bins (screws, nuts, bolts, and fittings) organized and stocked.
  
• Set up visual labels and reorder points (Kanban) so technicians always have what they need.
  

• Part Recovery & Salvage:
  
• Help identify unused, older, or surplus parts from older product models.
  
• Sort through surplus components and help prepare them to be repurposed or resold to secondary markets.
  

• General Operations Support:
  
• Help enter purchase orders and track deliveries from suppliers.
  
• Work closely with team members across warehouse and production to support daily production needs.
  

What We’re Looking For :

• 
  Education: Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a degree program in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  

• 
  Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (ability to organize data and use basic formulas).
  

• 
  Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to keep track of parts, numbers, and physical inventory accurately.
  

• 
  Good Communicator: Comfortable asking questions and working with team members on the manufacturing floor.
