What You'll Do

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you'll support project teams while gaining experience in a variety of engineering disciplines, including Surface Water, Water & Wastewater, Land Development, Surface Transportation, and Aviation Engineering. Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with engineering design and analysis
Performing design calculations
Preparing plans, specifications, and construction documents
Conducting construction observation and field work
Assisting with technical reports and project reviews
Supporting project coordination and oversight under the guidance of experienced engineers
Reviewing in-house designs and technical documents
Participating in special projects and team initiatives
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and technical staff
Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar drafting software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and meet deadlines
Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Willingness to work in construction and field environments, including varying weather and site conditions, as required
