About The Company
It is our vision to accelerate sustainable mobility for everyone in liveable cities and regions. We know that the mobility turnaround can only be done with the involvement of all relevant stakeholders. It is only through exchange and collaboration that unique innovations for better mobility are created. Located at the UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s largest center for start-ups and innovation, the Digital Hub Mobility makes use of the unique UnternehmerTUM ecosystem to drive mobility innovations of the future. Our approach is to connect cities, municipalities, mobility and technology companies as well as start-ups through concrete projects in order to create direct added value. Through our unique innovation formats, new digital products are developed and collaborative mobility concepts are tested in an urban environment.
About the Role

About us

The UnternehmerTUM Accelerator supports early-stage high-tech startups on their way to market. Over a fixed three-month program, we help strong founding teams validate their business model, win their first customers, and secure their first investment. Alongside our core program, the accelerator also runs a number of partner programs built on the same model, for initiatives such as EIT FAN and the ESA Accelerator.

As an intern, you keep these programs running smoothly. You support the team with the practical side of our workshops and events, help manage the platforms and tools our startups use, and contribute to the communication around each program.

Intern - Startup Operations & Ecosystem Support

LOCATION: Office at Munich Urban Colab
DURATION: 6 Months

Your mission

  • Support the day-to-day running of our programs.

  • Help organize the logistics for workshops, events, and founder activities (room setup, tech checks, catering, visitor registration, on-site support).

  • Prepare program materials such as slides, templates, handouts, and reports.

  • Keep our internal tools and data up to date (e.g. Notion, Airtable, Google Workspace).

  • Manage our startup benefits program: stay in contact with our partners, keep offers and contacts up to date, and resolve access issues for startups.

  • Support our marketing, for example drafting LinkedIn posts on program highlights and founder success stories.

  • Work closely with a wide range of people: our program manager, external partners hosting events, workshop leaders, and the building and events team at our location.

Your profile

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, ideally in business, innovation management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to juggle several tasks at once independently.

  • Confident communication in English (German is a plus).

  • Comfortable building clear slides and documents.

  • Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and innovation is a plus, not a requirement.

  • Experience with tools like Notion, Airtable, or Google Workspace is an advantage.

What we offer

  • Become part of Europe's largest center for entrepreneurship and innovation and a dynamic team.

  • We promise meaningful projects where you, as part of our incubation team, can take real responsibility for the prosperity of our community.

  • You will be supported and encouraged by your team every step of the way and learn from the best experts in their field.

  • You will get to know our community of experts working in the latest science and technology fields and gain extensive networking and learning opportunities.

Diversity is important to us

Diversity enriches our team. We explicitly encourage all qualified individuals to apply, regardless of gender, social and ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability.
