What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Process Automation: develop and enhance VBA-based tools to automate business-as-usual processes, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency
• AI & Digital Enablement: leverage Microsoft Copilot and the Bank's AI capabilities to create templates, automate recurring tasks, and improve productivity across business and project activities
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to optimise existing workflows and implement practical solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and user experience
• Project Coordination: support the planning and execution of ongoing projects through workstream coordination, progress tracking, and stakeholder engagement
• Meeting & Governance Support: organise meetings, prepare materials, maintain project documentation, and record meeting minutes to support effective project governance
• Presentation Development: assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communication materials for management updates, project reviews, and business initiatives
• Business Analytics: support data gathering, analysis, and reporting activities to provide insights that support decision-making and resource optimisation
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support the successful delivery of initiatives
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on process improvement, automation, AI adoption, and business transformation initiatives as assigned

Who You Work With

The First Line of Defence Support & Programs team partners business stakeholders across Global Markets to strengthen governance, drive operational improvements, and support strategic initiatives. You'll work alongside professionals involved in business management, project delivery, transformation, and risk governance while gaining exposure to how large-scale business initiatives are planned, coordinated, and executed within a leading financial institution.

Who You Are

• Open to learning and feedback
• Strong interest in automation, digital transformation, and process improvement
• Proficient in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, or prompt engineering concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across different teams
• Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
