JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective: The 2026 Community Bank Internship Program is open for applications. A banking internship provides students with hands-on experience in various banking operations, helping them understand the day-to-day functions of a financial institution. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities in banking and financial services, expand their knowledge through experience, and network with professionals.

Education and Experience:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic banking environment.

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

Community Bank has adopted a 40-hour work week.  Some flexibility in hours is necessary based on the location assignments, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and must work at least 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. 

Travel: 

Travel for this position is limited to travel for meetings/training.
