The Eversource Impact Advantage Program (IAP), in partnership with the Heebner Career Development Center (HCDC) at WPI, is a unique professional development opportunity designed to help students gain industry exposure, build meaningful connections with professionals, and prepare for future internships, co-ops, and full-time careers.
Through mentorship, employer engagement, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities, participants will gain valuable insight into Eversource Energy, the utility and energy industry, and the skills necessary for long-term career success.

Eligibility
We encourage applications from:
- WPI students (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate)
- Students studying Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering
- Individuals with an interest in the energy and utility industry
- Students committed to actively engaging in their professional development
Participant Expectations
Students selected for the program will:
- Attend all scheduled Eversource mentoring sessions
- Participate in employer-led workshops and industry discussions
- Complete three HCDC professional development workshops, between A-D Terms, selected from the following: Resume WritingHow to Work a Career FairPreparing for Your Job SearchSelling Your Project ExperienceInterview PreparationJob Offer Negotiation & Understanding Benefits
- Attend one "How to Maximize Your Employer Experience" session: October 27, 2026February 16, 2027
- Attend the end-of-program wrap-up event in April 2027
