Summary

As a James Hardie intern, you will gain hands-on experience in your chosen field while contributing to meaningful projects that drive business results. Our 12-week paid internship program is designed to provide real-world industry exposure, strengthen your professional and technical skills, and help prepare you for a successful career. Throughout the program, you will collaborate with experienced professionals, build valuable relationships across the organization, and take on work that makes a measurable impact. You will also have access to mentoring opportunities and professional development resources to support your growth and career aspirations.

What You’ll Do:

Internship Objective

Support the continued growth and success of HardieLink, a platform that serves more than 2,000 active users and supports over 16,000 customer orders annually. This internship will provide hands-on experience in customer success, digital adoption, analytics, and process improvement by contributing to initiatives that enhance customer experience, increase platform utilization, and improve operational efficiency. Through data-driven analysis, customer engagement, and strategic project work, the intern will help drive adoption, reduce manual processes, and support scalable growth across the HardieLink platform

 

Internship Responsibilities

  1. Adoption & Customer Analytics
  • Analyze user adoption metrics, customer engagement trends, and platform performance data.
  • Support development of the HardieLink Adoption & Health Dashboard and executive reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer adoption and overall platform utilization.
  1. Customer Onboarding Support
  • Assist with user onboarding, registration tracking, and customer communications.
  • Create and maintain training materials, user guides, FAQs, and video resources.
  • Support customer activation and contribute to the HardieLink Customer Success Playbook.
  1. Quality Assurance & Testing
  • Support UAT, regression testing, and validation of new features and enhancements.
  • Document defects, track testing results, and collaborate with product and IT teams.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance platform quality and user experience.
  1. Portal Content Management
  • Maintain training materials, feature announcements, release notes, and knowledge base content.
  • Ensure customer-facing information is accurate, current, and easy to access.
  • Support self-service resources that improve customer engagement and reduce support needs.
  1. Voice of Customer Program
  • Analyze customer feedback, survey results, feature requests, and support trends.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend enhancements to improve the user experience.
  • Present insights and recommendations to support product roadmap and adoption strategies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a relevant discipline at an accredited university, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029 (rising junior or rising senior).
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $20 to $25 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and may change over time.
