Engineering Intern

PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for supporting Manufacturing Engineers during manufacturing or new product introduction activities, helping to ensure delivery of highest quality product or new products to the customer. Ensure DHRs and X3 documentation is up to date with the release of new part numbers.

RESPONSABILITIES

· Provide support on the manufacturing lines.

· Support the investigation of NCMRs.

· Compile industrial engineering data to generate standard work.

· Utilize statistical analysis tools to assess product and process performance.

· Generate changes on DHRs, and DMRs based on the release of new part numbers.

· Support Shop Floor Control process.

· Execute IQs.

· Train process/molding technicians when needed.

· Participate in the design, development and testing of new and existing products and equipment.

· Evaluates new equipment, processes, and participates in the transfer of new products.

· Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and protocols.

· Leads or assists in process improvement projects and provides technical inputs.

· Generate, edit, and maintain Quality documentation, including but not limited to, departmental documents, procedures, work instructions, templates, and training materials including change orders.

· Provide technical support to other team members in statistical analysis techniques, experimental design, data analysis, sampling techniques, among others.

· Participates and provides training on department procedures and policies.

· Other tasks and duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

· Current university student majoring in Industrial, Chemical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

· At least 80% of the career approved (Bachelor´s or Licentiate degree).

· B1 English Level or above
