About the Role

Support Program Managers and project teams in organizing, coordinating, and completing work that serves the divinely appointed responsibilities of the Church. This internship provides hands-on experience in project management while helping teams communicate clearly, stay organized, and move work forward effectively. 

Responsibilities

Support project and program work under the direction of Program Managers and other supervising staff. Assignments may vary based on department needs and may include:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and resource teams to gather information, track needs, and support project activities.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, documentation, and status information.
  • Track assignments, deliverables, approvals, dependencies, risks, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the management of project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute project communications, meeting notes, status updates, and other documentation.
  • Assist with project intake, planning, execution, and closeout activities.
  • Identify potential issues or risks and escalate them to the appropriate project or program lead.
  • Support coordination across multiple deliverables, teams, and workstreams.
  • Assist with process improvements and other project management activities as assigned.

 

The Intern is expected to manage assigned work independently when appropriate, meet deadlines, pay close attention to detail, collaborate effectively with others, and respond well to direction and feedback. The Intern should foster an environment of trust and unity, build upon the strengths and ideas of others, and demonstrate tact, professionalism, and sound judgment. Appropriate understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol is expected.

Qualifications

Paid interns must be enrolled in an educational institution or be within one year following graduation. Interns must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
