About The Company
Fraunhofer IGD is the international leading institute for applied research in visual computing. Visual computing is image- and model-based information technology and includes computer graphics and computer vision, as well as virtual and augmented reality. In simple terms, the Fraunhofer researchers in Darmstadt, Rostock, and Kiel are turning information into images and extracting information from images. In cooperation with its partners, technical solutions and market-relevant products are created. Prototypes and integrated solutions are developed in accordance with customized requirements. In doing so, Fraunhofer IGD places users at the forefront, providing them with technical solutions to facilitate computer work and make it more efficient. About the Role

Das Fraunhofer-Institut für Kommunikation, Informationsverarbeitung und Ergonomie FKIE erforscht neue, innovative und intelligente Führungs- und Informationssysteme. Hierbei bieten wir unseren rund 630 Mitarbeitenden anspruchsvolle und abwechslungsreiche Aufgaben mit Verantwortung und Gestaltungsspielraum.

 

Die Abteilung »Cyber Analysis & Defense« (CA&D) erforscht Technologien zum sicheren Agieren im Cyber- und Informationsraum. Digitalisierung ist einer der Megatrends unserer Zeit. Gleichzeitig florieren Cyberkriminalität und -spionage. Diese Gefahren frühzeitig zu erkennen, zu minimieren und beherrschbar zu machen ist die Mission unseres interdisziplinären Teams von Mitarbeitenden aus den Fachbereichen Informatik, Mathematik, Physik und Ingenieurwesen.

An unserem Standort in Bonn suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine STUDENTISCHE HILFSKRAFT im Bereich Software-Entwicklung für Cyber-Sicherheit.

 

Hier sorgst Du für Veränderung

  • Konkret unterstützt Du die Entwicklung unseres Open-Source-Projekts FACT (Firmware Analysis and Comparison Tool).
  • Du arbeitest Dich in Technologien und Methoden zur Verbesserung von FACT ein.
  • Neue technische Ansätze für Extraktion und Analyse von Firmware für die Integration in FACT werden von Dir getestet.
  • Weiterhin implementierst Du neue Features, sowie die Optimierungen bereits vorhandener.
